At YMCA BC, we believe that access to period products is a necessity, not a luxury. That's why we are committed to providing free period products to members and visitors of our health, fitness, and aquatics locations. By removing financial and social barriers, we help ensure that no one has to miss important activities due to lack of access to essential products.
Menstruation is a natural part of life, and we recognize the additional cost for related products. We are dedicated to fostering a community where everyone can participate fully, without stigma or hardship. By offering these products for free, we promote dignity, equality, and inclusivity.

These products are conveniently located in changerooms and washrooms at our centres. Please visit the membership desk for locations.
While there is no strict limit on how many products someone can take, we ask that you "take what you need for today."
Please be mindful of others and only take the quantity you’ll use, so there’s enough for everyone who may need them. If you notice the supply is running low, let us know so we can restock.
