These programs reflect our commitment to equity, belonging, and the belief that everyone deserves to live free from harm. Whether a woman needs immediate shelter, emotional support, safety planning, outreach, or help navigating housing and community systems, our team is here to offer empathetic, confidential care.

Violence deeply impacts children and youth, even when they are not directly harmed. YMCA BC’s specialized programs provide a safe space for young people to express emotions, rebuild confidence, and through counselling, expressive therapies, and age-specific group support, help them reclaim their sense of safety and well-being.

When you join the YMCA you join more than a gym. You join a community.
