The International Students & Workers Employment Support (ISES) program is a comprehensive employment program designed to help international students and post-graduate work permit holders build confidence, strengthen job-ready skills and prepare for meaningful employment in Canada.
Through workshops, individualized coaching, and hands-on support, participants learn how to navigate the Canadian labour market and take their next steps toward employment success. We are here to ensure your talent and hard work are seen.

Do I need Canadian work experience to join?
No. The program supports participants who are new to the Canadian labour market.
Who can join the International Students & Workers Employment Support Program?
International students and Post-graduate Work Permit Holders living in British Columbia, who are legally able to work in Canada and are unemployed.
How long is the program?
The program runs for approximately 5�7 weeks depending on the intake cycle.
Is there a cost to participate?
No. The program is free for eligible participants. This program reflects YMCA BC�s commitment to equity and belonging by offering accessible, barrier-free support for those navigating new employment pathways in Canada.

Do I need previous experience with mindfulness or fitness?
