We believe learning happens when you’re having fun. YMCA Outdoor Education brings learning to life as enthusiastic staff guide children through a hands-on learning experience, programmed to meet the BC curriculum. Our program is designed to get kids active and learning outdoors.
YMCA Outdoor Education creates meaningful group experiences fostering personal growth, skill development and teamwork. Programming is customized for each group and designed to fulfill BC Ministry of Education prescribed learning outcomes.
We offer outdoor education experiences for elementary schools and high school at two locations: YMCA Camp Kanannaq in Prince George and YMCA Camp Elphinstone on the Sunshine Coast.
