
Prenatal Wellness is a free support group for expecting parents offered in Kamloops. The group blends guided mindfulness, gentle relaxation practices and self-compassion strategies that can be used before, during and after birth.
Pregnancy can be exciting and overwhelming at the same time, and many expecting parents want support that feels calm, practical and reassuring. The Prenatal Wellness program creates a caring, welcoming space where expecting parents can learn mindfulness, relaxation and self-compassion tools to support the journey into parenthood.
Participants also have time to ask questions, share experiences and connect with others preparing for life with a new baby. Sessions are warm, inclusive and designed to help parents feel supported, informed and more confident. Rooted in YMCA values of inclusion and community well-being, the group offers practical coping strategies for labour and early parenting, along with time to connect, share questions and build confidence.
This free program is currently offered in Kamloops and encourages a calm, supported start to life with your baby.
