In partnership with YAP and Foundry Prince George, the Housing Support and Outreach Program provides friendly practical and emotional support, coaching and advocacy. Everyone’s situation is unique. We work with youth to find housing and to stay housed.
The Housing Support and Outreach Program supports youth ages 12 to 24 and is rooted in the YMCA BC’s belief that safe, stable housing is essential to wellbeing. Our team recognizes the diverse barriers today's youth may face, including financial limitations, systemic challenges and lack of family support.
Youth Housing and Outreach provides practical, compassionate assistance that helps youth find housing, stay housed and build the skills needed for independence.
