Regaining confidence and maintaining independence are vital steps in managing Parkinson's disease. Offered in partnership with Interior Health, Power Over Parkinson's program is a unique, specific, group circuit exercise program designed to maintain flexibility, strength, and balance for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
At the Y, we believe in equitable access to healthier outcomes for everyone. Power Over Parkinson’s is more than just an exercise class; it is a supportive community where we meet you at your current level of mobility.
Working together, we help you regain confidence, maintain independence, and build the physical strength needed to navigate daily life with dignity. Each session is designed to engage participants in a supportive community where they work together to regain confidence, improve mobility, and manage day-to-day activities.
