Program Description

Healthy Hips, Healthy Knees (also known as Better Hips, Better Knees) is a physiotherapist supported circuit exercise program for people waiting for hip or knee replacement surgery, or those who are at least six weeks post operative. The program focuses on building strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance to support a smoother recovery and help reduce complications before and after surgery.

Program eligibility
  • Adults preparing for hip or knee replacement surgery
  • Adults who are at least six weeks post operative
  • Individuals with hip or knee osteoarthritis who would benefit from guided strength and mobility training
  • Participants must be able to join a small group exercise setting safely

Sessions include a circuit of exercises that build strength, mobility, balance, and confidence. Instructors provide modifications and progression options based on individual needs.
