YEC strengthens national connections by helping youth learn about Canadian cultures, traditions and communities. Adult group leaders guide youth as they co plan travel, budgets, community projects and hosting responsibilities. The program prioritizes accessibility, belonging, and immersive learning experiences.
Youth Exchanges Canada offers youth groups the opportunity to travel to another Canadian community for hands on learning, cultural exploration and community service. Groups of 10 to 30 youth ages 12 to 17 are paired with a twin group for reciprocal five day exchanges that promote leadership, teamwork and national connection.
