This Teen Camp program is an opportunity to expand wilderness skills, explore Nadsilnich Lake, create art & crafts projects, relax and have fun. For ages 13 to 15.

Our Tamarack Day Camp program is for youth ages 13-15 and takes place at YMCA Camp Kanannaq in Prince George.

Surrounded by 200 acres of lakefront property and vibrant forest, YMCA Camp Kanannaq offers a beautiful outdoor setting where campers can explore, learn and grow. With a scenic waterfront, forested activity spaces and welcoming shared areas, camp creates memorable experiences rooted in adventure, connection and a love for the outdoors.

  • Beautiful lakefront setting with opportunities for swimming and boating
  • Forested program spaces for activities like archery, fire-building, orienteering and knot-tying

  • Covered spaces throughout camp for shelter from sun or rain
  • Outhouses, handwashing stations, and water stations located across the site

Financial assistance
  • The YMCA raises money year round in order to offer financial assistance so that every child has the opportunity to attend camp
  • Financial assistance applications are open and will be accepted until two weeks prior to the requested session date
